Supernova’s Comeback, [CBS Interview]

Hallyu Dream Festival was part of the show in the event held in Gyeongju, Korea and the six member group, Supernova, was there to perform after 2 years. Brave Brothers teamed up with Supernova and composed their mini-album Time to Shine.
The title track “On the Days That I Miss You’” was written by Brave Brothers in Shibuya Key Style and electronic song. The follow up single, Lalala, with intense sound and a touch of hip-hop.
Supernova debuted in 2007 and caught the attention of some music industry officials saying they’re gorgeous. But they left, and their activities became less. Last year, they made a group project with T-ARA for the single Time To Love. Other groups that debuted that time were Big Bang and Girls Generation that suddenly became a well known group.

But in Japan, it’s different. They debuted in Japan last year and released their single ‘Kimi Dake Wo Zutto’ and a digital single, ‘Hikari’ and an album ‘Hana’ that ranked in Oricon Chart.

Yoonhak even studied in Japan in government-sponsored scholarship majoring in Business Administration from University of Aichi. Yoonhak’s excellence in Japanese language skills helped the members to settle more quickly in the Japanese market.
Yoonhak even explained, “Since childhood, I want to study in Japan so I studied Japanese all by myself because I like Japanese animation and games.”

The members appeared on entertainment programs and also thought about acting. Geonil appeared earlier in a drama ‘Soul’, Sungje appeared in album promotions in Japan.

Supernova will be in Japan on the 21st. Their schedule in Japan will be tight. On October 2, they will start their concert tour and on October 10, they’ll return to Korea. On December, they’re expecting to hold another large concert in Super Arena at Yokohama Japan. They’ll return back and forth in Korea and Japan but in their heart, Korea always comes first in their heart.

Supernova said, “We would like to be successful just like in Japan for our Korean fans. So we’ll work hard and expect to be different.
